-Go to the library to study
-Sit in the front of class and never miss a class
-Get to know your professor and ta’s
-Record your class lecture
-Borrow other students notes
-Exchange email and cell phone # on the first day of class in case you miss something. Start a study group and make contacts.
-Put your class lecture notes on audio and listen often. (Put on mp3 player or tape recorder)
-Use rate my professor and other online rate systems to find good professors
-Put the time in and study hard
GO TO CLASS
Get to know your teacher and ta’s
Get a laptop and TAKE NOTES (not play) on it
Flash cards!!
Go to study groups
If you are a procrastinator do a project the day you get it then you won’t be stressed when it’s close to the due date.
I am also bad at procrastination, so I can sympathize. I was going to respond to this earlier and well…. lol. Kidding!
You just need to make an concerted effort to jump in and start studying. Take good notes, buy a recorder that you can listen to again and again. Best of luck.
